Supporting youth workers, to support the development of young people.

Our mission is to strengthen the capacity of youth work practice, within the greater Waikato.
We aim to achieve this through;
• Promoting excellence in youth work in the greater Waikato, Aotearoa New Zealand, with a focus on appropriate professional, ethical practice; through the development of skilled youth work practice
• Facilitating and contributing to factual evidence to support youth work practice and youth workers; through ongoing evaluation and research
• Celebrating and acknowledging the success of youth work practice in the greater Waikato, Aotearoa New Zealand
• Facilitating the exchange of ideas and sharing of information in the practice of youth work through network meetings, conferences, education & training workshops, newsletters, other publications, and other activities as required

We are committed to valuing young people and those workers who work with young people, through collaboration, integrity and accountability.

We value the principles of Te Tiriti o Waitangi and pride ourselves on the actions and willingness to further our commitment to the founding document of Aotearoa New Zealand.
